Instead of using a pair of cords andplugs to complete a call, an operator at a traffic serv- ice position depresses various combinations of keys. With TSP, the customer dials person-to-person,collect and credit card calls, and the actual switchingof the call is handled by the equipment. The operator, who can display the number he dialed and the num-ber he is calling from, comes in on the line to provideassistance, deal with the called party, and to recordspecial information for billing purposes. 4 A.M. my wife wakes up, I am not there.

The door to my study opens, my wife is standing there with a confused and sleepy stare.
She finds me…… sitting on the floor, holding my camera, in the DARK
.
"What the hell are you doing?" she asks in her "are you crazy?" voice.

"Ummmm, just taking some pictures……. honey."

"It’s 4 A.M., you are sitting in the dark."

" I know, I’m not tired, I am just goofing off."

She crosses her arms. "You and that damned camera and this stoooooopid flickr crap!" Now she is not sleepy or confused, just pissed. "I think you have a problem, I think you need some help."

"No, no….no, I am fine, I can stop any time I want." Maybe she is right.

" Tomorrow, you will make an appointment to see somebody, a shrink, a counselor, I don’t care." The door closes witha disappointed thud.

I turn out the lights, afterall, I wasn’t finished taking pictures.

Lighting was provided by the power button for my computer, my mouse, and lights from my high speed modem. I moved the camera instead of moving the light.
Thanks to Pink Floyd for the title.

Yes, I do have a problem, but I am not going to stop.
