This is how I combined two wigs into one thicker wig. Bear in mind that this is my first time to alter a wig this extensively.
11. Then sew the weft down in place. Don’t sew the whole length of the weft down. If you look at your existing wig, it will either be sewed down in regular intervals or loosely sewn down the entire length. If you attach the weft too tightly it may not have the proper ‘give’ to stretch over your head when you are done. Remember that most wig heads are smaller than your own head! You can measure to compare, but typically you want to make the wig looser than the dummy head so it’ll go over your own hair.
