Revamp and Reamp: Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop Launches New Marketing Campaign

Glenwood Springs, Colo. (PRWEB) April 28, 2015

Locally owned Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop is gearing up for a new season of outdoor escapades, in fact the store and its new management is so amped about all the new changes they’ve tagged their rollout “Revamped & Reamped.” The campaign officially gets underway on Thursday, May 9, when the store will host an event that includes food and musical entertainment to debut its new look, new merchandise, new bike rental fleet and new “call out” program.

“The Revamped and Reamped Sunlight Ski & Bike Shop is more than just a great new look. It is new lines of products, an easy shopping layout and great customer service all designed to give our customers so much to smile about,” said Kevin Horch, the store’s new manager. Horch takes over from Rob Jankovsky who is retiring after managing Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop for 29 years.

The Revamped and Reamped kickoff event will be held May 9, at the Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop, located at 309 Ninth Street in downtown Glenwood Springs. A barbeque will begin at noon, with music amping up the afternoon from 1 to 3 p.m. Visitors will be able to ride bikes, check out the new rental fleet, see what’s in store, take advantage of special promotions and discounts, as well as learn more about the Revamped and Reamped campaign. As part of the campaign Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop will host similar special events either monthly or seasonally, depending on the weather. “These Revamped and Reamped events are an opportunity for the community to come out, socialize and see what’s new at their local ski and bike shop,” said Horch.

On the revamped side, Horch and his team have completely redesigned the layout of the store, creating a more customer-friendly shopping format. “Customer service is our top priority which is why we have arranged the store with our customers in mind,” said Horch. “Now when customers come in, they can visually locate the section of the store to easily find items; of course our professional sales team is always there to help you find what’s right for you.” For example, there’s a section of the store clearly marked “Just Tri” that’s dedicated to triathlon enthusiasts and includes the gear and accessories triathletes require in one easy-to-shop location.

The reamped side of the program features new vendors and products which will be highlighted or “called out” with special tags that signal to shoppers which items are new arrivals. For example new vendor merchandise that will likely be called out for spring and summer includes:

Fox riding apparel for men and women
Endura bike clothing for men and women
New “cool technology” biking helmets with integrated sunglasses
Sunglasses from Smith Sport Optics and Dragon Alliance
    Colorado apparel from Kind Design

Sunlight Ski and Bike Shop has also revamped and reamped its rental fleet. The fleet features Giant brand bikes in a range of sizes, including bikes for kids. All the bikes are designed for a comfortable ride; with mountain bikes featuring dual suspension and Giant’s Defy model providing a smooth road biking option. The store’s newly installed “Hydration Station” and “Feed Bag” area offer riders the option to stock up on refreshments and energy food products before heading out for a ride.
